For most pub and club situations there are a few simple choices of screen,  These break down into portable, manual wall screen or an electric wall screen. Generally this will be a 4:3 ratio screen (or capable of this) although there are moves to go towards widescreen. However the native resolution on most brighter projectors used in pubs and clubs tends to be 4:3 but with the ability to project 16:9. These comments hare made in 2006. Unless there is a lot of ambient light hitting the screen and it will be used in the daytime most of the time it is usual to go for a white screen fabric.
